Abstract

An experiment was conducted during rainy (Kharif) season of 1990-91 to find out the effect of phosphorus and molybdenum on yield and its attributing parameters in 'Gaurav’ Soybean (Glycine max. (L.) Merr.). The seed yield HI, Seed index, primary branches, pod bearing length and plant height were highest with the application of 80 kg P2O5/ha. Soil incorporation of molybdenum @ 1.0 kg/ha significantly improved seed yield Hl, seed index, pod weight and pod number. Further increase in the levels of both the nutrients had diminution effect On these traits.
